If you’re in the mood for relaxation and chasing away stress or you’re looking for an energy boost, our hand-poured scented candles have been specially blended to evoke the unique, natural aromas of flora and fauna of the Mani – to bring the outside in and awaken the senses.
Our three fragrance blends are inspired by the aromas that carry on the Maniot breeze, scents that awaken the senses and fill the air with memories of Mani.
The wild fig has been prized in Greece since ancient times. Early Olympic athletes were fed figs for strength and speed. Winners were crowned with fig wreaths.
The wild fig is a staple of the Mani landscape; taking hold in the most inhospitable places, in old stone walls and rocky hillsides. The beautiful organic shaped leaves drape welcome shade, and the rich plummy aroma of ripened fruits fill the late summer air.
A warm, fruity, relaxing scent that fills the air with the fragrance of wild fig trees. A blend of fresh fig and lily,enriched by precious woods, nutty and earthy notes, on a base of currants, amber, musk, patchouli, coconut and plum.
Mani is fretted with old cobbled paths linking village to village and mountains to the sea. In spring and summer months wild sage lines the pathways releasing its refreshing, slightly minty aroma, into the mountain air. Down below by the sea old salt pans dot the rocky coast. The combination of sun, seawater, wind and rock still continues the natural crystalisation process making it possible to collect and purify your own sea salt.
Bringing together the mountain and the sea, this invigorating blend combines the fresh scent of the sea and salt minerals with aromatic sage to cleanse and rejuvenate.
